Job summary

Permasteelisa North America is seeking a Fabrication Designer Sr. in Portland, OR, to translate 2D curtain wall shop drawings into 3D models using Autodesk Inventor and to prepare precise BOMs for material planning and orders.

You will collaborate with senior designers, engineers, and production managers to turn design concepts into actionable fabrication data. The role requires mentoring others, developing project strategies, and staying with projects through multiple stages, ensuring standards

Qualifications

Bachelor degree preferred in engineering or architectural field.
Proficient in Autodesk Inventor and PMF software.
Proficient in Excel, Navisworks, AutoCAD.
International travel may be required to project location.

Responsibilities

Accurately interpret 2D shop drawings into 3D models and BOMs for production.
Coordinate with design, engineering and production teams to translate concepts into fabrication data.
Mentor teammates and lead 3D modeling training initiatives.
Ensure adherence to company standards and timely release of fabrication information.
Lead coordination with cross-functional teams to support project execution.
