Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a Mechanical Designer to work under guidance on projects within the Buildings Government Service team.

You will contribute to evaluating, recommending, and specifying mechanical systems to meet codes and standards, with a focus on sustainable, integrated building solutions. You will collaborate with architects and other engineers, perform Revit design for mechanical components, and participate in field work as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Coop/Internship experience preferred.
• Experience with HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection in buildings.

Responsibilities

• Performs Revit design for the mechanical discipline under guidance.
• Coordinates with architects, interior designers, and other engineering disciplines.
• Performs basic calculations to analyze mechanical system components.
• Assists with data collection to support design decisions.
• Performs field work as directed by senior staff.
