HDR, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical design team on projects across commercial and institutional buildings.

You will collaborate with Project Managers, Architects, and other engineers to develop designs from schematic design through contract documents. The role emphasizes code compliance, site visits, and coordination with disciplines, plus preparation of specifications and responses to RFIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Minimum 3 years in mechanical system design for commercial or institutional buildings.
• PE license or eligibility preferred.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate mechanical design team through schematic to contract document phase.
• Review documents for conflicts with other disciplines.
• Prepare and edit mechanical specifications and select equipment.
• Provide construction contract administration as needed.
• Conduct QA/QC on others' mechanical work.
