Job summary

Wistron is seeking a hands-on mechanical design engineer to lead server-related product development and support NPI activities. You will create and maintain 3D/2D drawings, specifications, and development documentation, while performing DFM/DFA reviews and managing the mechanical BoM.

In this role you will assist with pilot builds, assembly processes, testing, and analysis of mechanical issues, and work directly with customers to align designs and drive product development forward.

Qualifications

Minimum 2+ years of mechanical R&D experience.
Proficiency in CAD software such as Creo.
Experience with Windchill PLM.
Strong knowledge of molding, machining, and manufacturing processes.
Experience creating and maintaining drawings, BoMs, and design documentation.

Responsibilities

Lead mechanical design for server-related products and support NPI activities.
Create and maintain 3D/2D drawings, mechanical specifications, and development documentation.
Perform DFM/DFA reviews and manage mechanical BoM.
Support pilot builds, assembly processes, sample testing, and analysis of mechanical issues.
Work directly with customers to support mechanical design alignment and product development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design for manufacturability.
