Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current, full-time student enrolled in a mechanical, architectural, electrical, or electronic design associate’s degree program with an accredited technical school.
• Understands basic principles of designing equipment, drafting and computer aided design.
• Working knowledge of computer aided graphic system.
• Functions effectively in a technical engineering team environment.

Responsibilities

• Produces designs and documentation utilizing CAD and PLM systems.
• Documents parts and bills of materials.
• Adheres to design and drafting standard practices.
• Works from oral or written engineering instructions, procedures, schematics, drawings and sketches.
• Completes assignments and corrects own errors.
• Maintains competency in CAD and related applications through training.
• Follows safety and security policies.
