Job summary

Trane Technologies has an exciting onsite opportunity for an HVAC Product Development Technician Intern in La Crosse, WI. The role focuses on testing New Product Development (NPD), sustainability, and quality improvement projects within the Engineering Test Laboratory, with collaboration across the lab and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an Associate Degree program in HVAC at an accredited school.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook). Implement basic programming in Visual Basic is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work safely and maintain a clean work area per policy.
• Operate HVAC equipment and test facilities to collect experimental data with guidance.
• Assist with installation, modification, and build of developmental HVAC equipment and components.
• Assist Test Engineering and technicians to install/use lab test equipment (data acquisition systems, power analyzers, flow, pressure, temp).
• Assist in troubleshooting and repair of HVAC technologies and equipment.
