DwyerOmega is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern for the Materials Characterization Systems team in Westerville, OH. You will be mentored and work in both office and lab environments to support new product development and sustaining engineering for advanced materials.

The role involves hands-on design, modeling, and testing using SolidWorks, ANSYS, and MATLAB, with an emphasis on collaboration and professional integrity.

Competenze

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or a related discipline.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks proficiency preferred).
• Experience with Python preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Commitment to confidentiality and professional integrity.

• Mechanical Design: Create and refine mechanical components using SolidWorks.
