DwyerOmega is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to support our Fluid Components International line in San Marcos, CA. You will create SolidWorks 3D models and assemblies from drawings, assist with part and fixture designs, and help prototype and test for manufacturability.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, have SolidWorks experience, and can read engineering drawings with GD&T basics.

Competenze

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Working knowledge of SolidWorks.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T fundamentals.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

Mansioni

• Generate precise 3D SolidWorks models from 2D drawings.
• Create new designs for mechanical parts and fixtures using SolidWorks.
• Support prototyping through 3D printing, machining, assembly, and testing.
• Organize CAD files and follow company modeling standards.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure models reflect design intent and manufacturability.
