Lanco Group of Companies in Hazel Crest, IL, seeks a Senior Mechanical/Structural Engineer to lead the Structural & Cab Engineering Team. You will translate engineering direction into executable plans, mentor engineers, and guide complex design decisions for heavy equipment and related systems.

The role is on-site with relocation eligibility, travel up to 10%, and a base pay range of $125,000–$155,000 with comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• Accredited engineering degree with emphasis in mechanical or structural engineering.
• 10+ years of progressive engineering experience in mechanical/structural design.
• Strong CAD skills in 3-D and 2-D drawing software (Inventor, AutoCAD, SolidWorks).

Responsabilidades

• Plan, conceptualize, and create mechanical designs with objectives aligned to product, quality, and manufacturability.
• Serve as SME for complex mechanical and structural systems and guide design decisions.
• Develop connection designs and evaluate tolerance stack-up for manufacturing and assembly.
• Prepare and review component and system drawings, including installation drawings.
• Lead project teams through complex technical challenges and manage milestones.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical coaching on engineering matters.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain.
• Perform engineering calculations and ensure drawings meet standards.
