Job summary

6 Degrees Search is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer in Morris County, NJ to design water and wastewater equipment in SolidWorks and produce fabrication drawings. This is a hands-on role with close shop-floor interaction.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and 3–4 years of SolidWorks design experience. On-site only; relocation not offered. Base salary $75k–$90k with 100% medical coverage for you and your family.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–4 years of mechanical design experience.
• Proficient in SolidWorks and able to produce fabrication drawings.
• Local to northern New Jersey and onsite in Morris County.

Responsibilities

• Design water and wastewater equipment in SolidWorks and produce fabrication drawings.
• Determine how to build customer equipment, including new designs.
• Lead conveyor designs through requirements to released drawings.
• Visit fabrication shop to review plans and resolve build questions.
