Job summary

SENKO Advanced Components, Inc. in Hudson, MA, is seeking an engineering professional to sustain and update existing product drawings and participate in design verification and testing.

You will work with SolidWorks to create 2D and assembly drawings and collaborate with manufacturing to ensure accurate models. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering, 3D CAD knowledge (SolidWorks preferred), strong communication skills, and willingness to travel as needed; a plastics

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required (Science or Engineering major preferred).
• 3D CAD knowledge is required (SolidWorks preferred).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Fiber Optics or Connector Design preferred.
• Plastics background a plus.
• Ability to travel.
• Computer experience including all Microsoft Office software programs.

Responsibilities

• Sustain existing designs and update drawings per ISO procedures.
• Create 2D and assembly drawings; revisions (Initial Release and ECN).
• Collaborate with Operations and SENKO manufacturing for drawing info.
• Design, setup and conduct testing to qualify prototype components and assemblies.
• Assist in verification and validation of designs through testing and analysis.
• Generate and maintain product specifications, data sheets and termination procedures.
• Maintain engineering documents and CAD file organization.
