Job summary

Campbell Scientific, Inc. in Logan, UT, is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to advance electronic instrumentation and measurement systems.

You will design, analyze, and test mechanical components, select materials, and address thermal, vibration, and packaging challenges to meet evolving customer needs. Key responsibilities include developing manufacturing processes, verifying designs, and documenting engineering work while collaborating with a cross-functional team within Infrastructure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficiency with CAD/3D modeling; SolidWorks preferred.
• Experience with CAE/FEA.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings.
• Strong communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and test mechanical aspects of electronic instrumentation.
• Perform thermal, vibration, and structural analyses.
• Define materials, mounting, packaging.
• Document designs and manufacturing processes.
• Verify and validate testing of components and systems.
