Job summary

Campbell Scientific, Inc. in Logan, UT is seeking a hardware Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams from concept through production of complex physical products.

You will closely partner with Product and Engineering to translate direction into executable development programs, manage scope, schedule, budget, and risk, and drive timely decisions to bring high-quality hardware to market. This hands-on role requires strong technical fluency, excellent communication, and a bias toward action

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience developing physical products and bringing hardware to production.
• Experience working with Engineering and Manufacturing through prototyping, verification, and production readiness.
• Experience leading complex technical work across functions without direct reporting authority.
• Mechanical engineering experience with electromechanical product development and manufacturability.
• Electrical engineering experience in PCB development, board bring-up, and hardware debugging.
• Experience with in-house and outsourced prototyping and manufacturing resources.
• Experience in product compliance, production test development, fixtures, sourcing, or NPI.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional hardware development projects from concept through design, verification, compliance, and production release.
• Own the integrated project view across scope, schedule, dependencies, risks, and resources.
• Drive decisions, remove barriers, and ensure timely commitments.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to turn decisions into coordinated execution.
• Integrate manufacturing throughout development, including DFM/ DFA and production transfer.
• Improve how hardware is developed and shipped while preserving quality and reliability.
