Job summary

Delkor Systems is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead design projects, create CAD assemblies, and maintain BOMs for complex machine orders. You will design custom components, perform calculations, and verify accuracy of drawings and layouts, while guiding junior designers.

The role requires a BSME with several years of machine design experience, proficiency in SolidWorks, and strong problem-solving abilities. On-site work with travel to customer sites is expected.

Qualifications

• BSME with four years of experience or AS in Engineering with eight years in machine design.
• Experience designing with SolidWorks or similar 3-D modeling.
• Ability to read, analyze and solve complex mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed product specifications and BOMs for machine orders.
• Lead design projects and direct daily activities of assigned personnel.
• Perform engineering calculations and analysis, prototype testing.
• Collaborate with vendors, review designs, and monitor schedules.
