Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer II to develop new products and document procedures for cross-functional teams. The role focuses on meeting performance, cost, and quality targets and requires clear technical documentation for design, manufacturing, and quality engineers.

The candidate will work on design calculations, utilize SolidWorks and PDM, and support existing products with cost reduction and DFMEA insights. Travel of 5–10% is expected.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 3 years’ required experience.
• SolidWorks and PDM experience desirable; use of CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide drawings and documentation for moderately complex components and processes.
• Provide recommendations with documentation for complex components and processes.
• Use CAD analysis tools to optimize designs efficiently.
• Support existing products through cost reduction, failure analysis, and product derivatives.
• MRB dispositioning (Material Review Board).
• Travel 5–10%.
