Job summary

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or a related STEM field, plus experience in sizing calculations and FEA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related STEM major obtained by start date.
• Experience performing sizing calculations to determine scope of higher detail analysis models.
• Experience performing Structural analysis using FEA software.

Responsibilities

• Analysis tasks spanning the spectrum from classical hand analysis to detailed analysis requiring the use of finite element analysis software.
• Interpreting structural analysis results and proposing changes for design improvement.
• Developing high quality analysis reports for peer reviews.
• Presenting results to internal and external customers.
• Planning and supporting testing, data reduction and structural model correlation.
