Job summary

Crusoe Energy in Arvada, CO is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer I to help transform customer requirements into production-ready 3D models and drawings for modular buildings and power distribution equipment. You will work under senior engineers to ensure designs meet regulatory and commercial codes.

The role targets recent graduates with foundational 3D modeling skills and a strong eagerness to learn. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work onsite in a safety‑sensitive environment,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or related engineering discipline.
• 0–2 years of mechanical design experience (internships/co-ops ok).
• Foundational 3D modeling skills and willingness to learn modular buildings and power distribution systems.
• Awareness of building codes, energy codes, and UL listings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design of modular integrated buildings and power distribution equipment.
• Draft shop drawings, submittals, and O&M manuals under senior guidance.
• Maintain traceability and support ECOs and design changes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve procedures and safety.
