Job summary

Crusoe is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join the in-office Denver team. You will design electrical systems for modular data centers, bridging design, fabrication, and field deployment while coordinating with partners and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years electrical design in data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Working knowledge of NEC and NFPA/IEEE standards.
• Proven track record from schematic to construction and field issue resolution.
• Proficient with AutoCAD or Revit and power systems analysis tools (ETAP or SKM).
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design and specify electrical systems for modular data centers (MV/LV, UPS, generators, switchboards, RPPs).
• Translate site-specific designs from schematic to construction-ready sets.
• Review drawings, submittals, and shop drawings against Basis of Design.
• Audit short-circuit, protection, arc-flash, and load flow studies.
• Develop installation details and contribute to design templates with new tech.
• Resolve RFIs and Directives during construction and support QC tests.
• Assist commissioning (Levels 1-5) with the Cx team and verify procedures.
• Capture lessons learned and feed back into design iterations.
