Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or architectural engineering required.
• Entry level position; no prior experience required.
• EIT and LEED accreditation preferred.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, REVIT, CHVAC/RHVAC, Trane Trace and/or eQuest modeling software.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems in accordance with current code requirements and sound engineering principles.
• Communicate effectively with engineers, project manager, and client.
• Conduct field observations to document existing conditions.
• Organize and prioritize tasks to meet design milestones within budget.
• Produce construction documents for projects.
• Assist in developing construction cost estimates for mechanical systems.
• Attend coordination and design meetings as needed.
• Review project specifications and budget; address comments from clients and authorities.

Education

Bachelor's degree in mechanical or architectural engineering or related engineering discipline
