Amphenol High Speed Products Group in Santa Clara, CA, is seeking a Product Development Engineer – Mechanical Design to join the HSIO-Santa Clara team. You will drive concept, design, verification, and qualification of 112Gb signaling IO products from concept through pilot production with global teams.

The role requires collaboration with Marketing, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain, plus leadership in design reviews and DFM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering or related field.
• Experience with high-speed cable assembly and/or connector design preferred.
• Knowledge of signal integrity and GD&T principles.

Responsabilités

• Design, verification, and qualification of High Speed IO products.
• Lead design reviews and ensure manufacturability.
• Perform Design FMEA, Tolerance Analysis, FEA, and risk analysis.
• Collaborate with marketing, suppliers, and cross‑functional teams.
• Prepare test plans and support pilot production and beta sites.
