Job summary

Kinder Morgan, a leading energy infrastructure company, seeks a Mechanical Engineer to support interstate natural gas pipeline, measurement, and compression projects. You will be a technical resource within the Engineering Design group and collaborate across departments, customers, and external firms.

The role requires a BS in Engineering, 5+ years gas-industry experience, and the ability to read P&IDs, perform pressure drop calculations, and develop specifications.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering required and demonstrated ability to apply engineering principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in documenting calculations, reports, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in selection and sizing of air compressor packages, generators, filtration equipment, heat exchangers, flow meters, valves, and piping components.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, licensees, and consultants, communicating technical information clearly.
• Prepare engineering reports, calculations, studies, and presentations for project milestones.
