Job summary

Kinder Morgan, a leading North American energy infrastructure company, seeks a Measurement/Mechanical Engineer to support Intrastate Natural Gas pipeline projects through execution and operations. You will assist with measurement project scope, equipment sizing, valve selection, and OPP design while collaborating with multiple teams to ensure safe, compliant, and economical operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering and at least five years in gas measurement design, with travel

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
Minimum 5 years’ experience with gas measurement design.
Experience and knowledge in design, sizing, and selection of piping, fittings, valves, flow meters, etc.
Knowledge of natural gas measurement standards (49 CFR Part 192, ASME B31.8, API, GPA).
Ability to read mechanical drawings and P&IDs; create BOMs and schematics.

Responsibilities

Provide engineering support in gas measurement and related equipment.
Support operations in troubleshooting measurement facilities and equipment.
Develop scope, sizing, and selection for measurement projects; communicate findings clearly.
Coordinate with Project Management, Procurement, Engineering and Operations to ensure project success.
