GatesAir is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to design, analyze, and verify cooling systems for high-power broadcast equipment. You will design packaging for transmitter systems, and work within cross-functional teams to meet schedule and cost goals.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering and 5+ years of experience in mechanical design with emphasis on electronics packaging, thermal concepts, and CAD/analysis tools. Starting pay and full benefits apply.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent required.
• 5+ years experience in mechanical design, electronics packaging preferred.
• Knowledge of thermal and mechanical packaging concepts for electronic equipment.

Mansioni

• Design, implement and verify cooling systems for high-power broadcast equipment.
• Use air and liquid cooling, high fin-density heat sinks, vapor-phase methods.
• Utilize Flow Simulation, SolidWorks FEA/CFD, SolidWorks, DraftSight, MS Excel for analysis and design.
• Package transmitter systems and subsystems; maintain Bills of Materials.
