Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering required with relevant experience.
• Experience designing electrical enclosures and/or cables.
• Sheet metal design for medium-volume production and design-for-manufacturability.
• Thermal modeling and integration of electrical systems into larger designs.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and CAD version control; CFD/FEA knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, optimization, and execution of electrical hardware for systems.
• Own requirements development, prototyping, testing, and iteration.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deploy designs into production.
• Coordinate reviews and ensure manufacturability and reliability goals.
• Support rapid iteration with reliability and test teams.
