Siemens is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineering Co-op in Wendell, NC, starting May 2027 for Summer–Fall 2027. The role is on-site, 40 hours per week, within 50 miles of Wendell, NC, and requires NC State University co-op enrollment.

You’ll support mechanical design, 3D modeling, drawings, tooling requests, and prototype builds, collaborating with engineering and production teams to drive design improvements. Knowledge of Siemens tools like SAP, AutoCAD, Teamcenter is a plus.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• Candidates must be enrolled with the North Carolina State University co‑op program.
• Ability to work on-site full-time (40 hours per week) during the Summer and Fall 2027 semesters.
• Eligible candidates must be located within 50 miles of Wendell, NC, as this role does not provide housing or relocation support.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Responsabilités

• Supporting mechanical design and 3D modeling projects, including drawing updates and design revisions.
• Assisting with troubleshooting production support issues and implementing design improvements.
• Supporting requests for special tools and fixtures to improve production and assembly processes.
• Creating and updating engineering drawings and documentation for new and existing products.
• Collaborating with engineering and production teams to support prototype builds and hands‑on development activities.
