Job summary

TechniPower, Inc. in Wickenburg, AZ is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to own designs for heavy road maintenance equipment and lead improvements using SOLIDWORKS.

You will refine machining, welding, and assembly processes with a focus on cost reduction and project execution. This is a long-term direct-hire role at our facility.

Qualifications

• BSME or equivalent with 2+ years in mechanical design.
• Strong background using SolidWorks.
• Experience with heavy equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, welded assemblies.
• Experience with machining and welding processes; strong PM skills.
• Good communications and long-term employment interest.

Responsibilities

• Design engineer and product owner for lines of heavy road maintenance equipment.
• Use SolidWorks to improve equipment and reduce costs.
• Improve designs for machining, welding and assembly.
• Work at the company facility in Wickenburg, AZ.
• Support long-term direct hire and relocation as needed.

Job Description

We have a customer in Wickenburg, AZ who has an immediate long-term, DIRECT HIRE opening for a Mechanical Design Engineer. If you or any of your colleagues are interested in this position,

In this role you will work as a Design Engineer and Product owner for several lines of heavy road maintenance equipment. Specifically, you will use SOLIDWORKS to improve equipment through continuous improvement and cost reduction techniques as well as being directly involved in improving product designs for more efficient and effective machining, welding and assembly and more.

This is a long-term DIRECT HIRE opportunity and must be worked at company facility in Wickenburg, AZ

Company does have a 4 day/10 hour Monday-Thursday work schedule

Salary is in the 90K-110K range with relocation bonus as needed

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• BSME or similar, 2+ years plus in Mechanical Design and Engineering
• Must have strong background using SOLIDWORKS
• Experience with heavy equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, welded assemblies and similar a plus
• Experience with machining and welding processes a plus, strong project management skills
• Good communications skills and interest in long-term employment
