Job summary

Intellectt Inc. is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer in Pelzer, SC to support structural designs and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams for seismic, thermal, and structural aspects.

Qualifications

Job description

Support structural designs, work with the module manufacturing facility to develop complete design on seismic, thermal and structural and coordinate structural design with architectural / electrical / thermal / mechanical.

• BS in Mechanical Engineering with years of mechanical/structural experience
• Knowledge in AutoCAD / Autodesk
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Experience in construction drawings and equipment specificationsKnowledge of local and national building codes
• Work to compliance with federal, state building codes
• Design of mechanical parts, create designs and provide Schematic for structural design aspects of the solution
• Static / Dynamic calculations
• Coordinate with Mechanical Engineer on thermal transfer calculations
• Welding procedure and inspection specification
• Develop Dimensional test procedure, structural load test procedure and calculation, Quality control during execution
• Support all site module
• Work with fabrication teams and validate construction process, welding specifications and inspection of the module
