Job summary

RAPSYS TECHNOLOGIES PTE LTD is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer focused on structural design to join our module manufacturing efforts in the United States, South Carolina. The role targets hands-on design work, calculations, and fabrication coordination for complex equipment assemblies.

The candidate will contribute to seismic, thermal and structural design, develop drawings and specifications, and ensure compliance with building codes at all levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Experience in structural/mechanical design and fabrication.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal building codes.
• Experience with construction drawings and equipment specifications.

Responsibilities

• Support structural designs and coordinate fabrication teams.
• Develop complete designs for seismic, thermal and structural aspects.
• Produce construction drawings and equipment specifications.
• Perform static/dynamic calculations and load testing.

Job Description & Skill Requirement:

• Support structural designs, work with the module manufacturing facility to develop
• complete design on seismic, thermal and structural and coordinate structural design
• with architectural / electrical / thermal / mechanical.
• BS in Mechanical Engineering with years of mechanical/structural experience
• Knowledge in AutoCAD / Autodesk
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Experience in construction drawings and equipment specifications
• Knowledge of local and national building codes
• Work to compliance with federal, state building codes
• Design of mechanical parts, create designs and provide Schematic for
• structural design aspects of the solution
• Static / Dynamic calculations
• Coordinate with Mechanical Engineer on thermal transfer calculations
• Welding procedure and inspection specification
• Develop Dimensional test procedure, structural load test procedure and
• calculation, Quality control during execution
• Support all site module
• Work with fabrication teams and validate construction process, welding
• specifications and inspection of the module
