Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

Responsibilities

1. Perform assignments to develop skills as a Project Engineer/Design Engineer.
2. Use engineering principles and standard designs to develop project designs and layouts.
3. Collaborate with Senior Engineers, Project Engineers, Group Managers, Partners, Associates, and Principals.
4. Independently perform assignments with general expected results.
5. Seek guidance on unusual problems and obtain supervisory approval for developed plans.
6. Assist in preparing contract documents.
7. Plan, schedule, and conduct all phases of projects of moderate scope.
8. Perform conventional engineering work, including standard designs.
9. Make engineering calculations.
10. Develop basic designs based on detailed schematic sketches.
11. Coordinate production and design efforts with senior staff or project engineers/designers.
12. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Associate degree, Bachelor of Science, or equivalent education and experience.
• Experience with CAD (Revit preferred).

Compensation

• Annual salary range: $62,400 to $72,500.
