Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks an I&C CSU Engineer to help direct commissioning and startup activities in a cutting-edge semiconductor facility in New Albany, Ohio. You will work with engineering, construction, vendors, and operations to ensure safe, on-schedule handover of control systems and instrumentation.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field, with up to several years of relevant experience, and knowledge of DCS, PLCs, LSS, BMS, and LOTO

Qualifications

Reads and understands P&ID diagrams and instrumentation data sheets.
Knowledge of control systems including DCS, BMS, LSS, PLCs and control valves.
Experience or familiarity with Lockout/Tagout programs.
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline with limited or several years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Assist in commissioning activities from construction completion to handover.
Collaborate with engineering, construction, vendors, subcontractors and operations teams.
Support startup planning, work packages and test packages for CSU activities.
Support turnover walkdowns and interface with Field Engineer as needed.
Assist in procurement and quantity tracking related to CSU work.
