Job summary

M.C. Dean seeks a Mechanical Critical Facility Technician to maintain and repair complex HVAC and mechanical systems in data centers, hospitals, and manufacturing environments.

Applicants should have 6+ years in mechanical/critical facility work, including 3+ years in data centers or hospitals, and must be able to obtain a Secret clearance; EPA 608 and ACR TDLR qualifications within the first year are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or greater.
• 6+ years' work experience in mechanical or critical facility operations.
• 3+ years direct experience in data center or hospital critical facility operation.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• EPA 608 certification preferred; or obtain within 90 days of hire.
• ACR Technician TDLR within the first year of employment.
• U.S. citizenship may be required for security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair complex HVAC and mechanical systems in data centers, hospitals, and manufacturing plants.
• Operate, maintain, and repair chillers, boilers, CRAC/CRAH units, and air handling units.
• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, including pumps, valves, and piping.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Read and interpret mechanical, plumbing, and electrical diagrams.
• Use CMMS software to track work orders and maintenance activities.
