Job summary

Hermanson Company in the Seattle area is seeking a Project Manager for its Owner Direct Solutions group in Kent, WA. You will coordinate with Hermanson and subcontractors to bring projects to successful completion.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of mechanical construction PM experience, strong communication, and organizational skills. Base salary ranges from $95k to $140k per year, with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years related experience as a Project Manager in mechanical construction (HVAC preferred).
• Must demonstrate good communication and management skills.
• Strong organization with multiple projects and deadlines, and focus on customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Promotes teamwork and a positive winning team attitude through leadership.
• Responsible for employee training and development.
• Establishes and maintains trusting relationships with project foremen, superintendents, customers, engineers, generals, and subcontractors.
• Performs all essential duties and responsibilities per Hermanson standards and procedures.
• Forecasts workload for a rolling 12-month period every month.
• Provides management on multiple projects and project teams.
• Directs day-to-day activities of project team to ensure timely turnover and pre-planning with unions.
• Selects equipment and subcontractors; writes POs and subcontracts accordingly.
• Verifies billing reception for equipment and subcontracts prior to payment.
• Calculates and submits change orders; updates budgets and logs.
• Completes monthly STAT/Financial Report and Cost Forecasting.
