Job summary

icon Mechanical, a full-service mechanical contractor and construction firm, is seeking a Project Manager III to lead large and complex projects in Raleigh, NC. You will drive from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives are met while maintaining strong client relationships.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in mechanical construction project management, a related bachelor’s degree, and proficiency with MS Office, Viewpoint, ProCore, ACC

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Project Manager in Mechanical Construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or proven working experience in Construction Management.
• Knowledge of HVAC and Piping Systems; building products and quality standards.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, Viewpoint, ProCore, ACC Build, and BlueBeam.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and construction practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of project execution per contract and quality standards.
• Manage document control, project communication, and coordination across teams.
• Lead subcontractor management, schedule coordination, and change management.
• Direct safety planning and high-risk construction activities with accountability for safe work practices.
• Develop detailed project schedules, manpower planning, and cost-control strategies.
• Oversee procurement, subcontract administration, and major purchasing decisions.
• Review financial reports to identify risks and opportunities and take corrective actions.
