Job summary

University Mechanical is seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Project Manager for our Anaheim, CA location. The role leads mechanical construction projects safely, on time and within budget across Healthcare, Life Science, Commercial, Industrial and other markets.

Key duties include safety leadership, schedule and cost control, procurement, change orders, and client relations. A 5–7 year construction background or relevant degree is required; BIM and design/build experience favored.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years construction-related experience or Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management.
• Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily and comply with company policies.

• Oversee safety of field personnel on projects and ensure field productivity.
• Manage project financials, changes, cash flow, and reporting.
• Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment; maintain owner/client relations.

Job Summary

University Mechanical is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Project Managerfor our Anaheim, CA location. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The Project Manager has the following dutieswhich include safety of UMEC field personnel assigned to the projects, field labor productivity, quality assurance and coordination, project financial outcome, projections and reporting, material and equipment procurement, change order management, owner/client relations, project cash flow, and personnel management. Comply with all company operating policies, procedures, executed plans, and programs. Other duties may be assigned.Managers are responsible for directing and overseeing the work activities of their direct reports and to be available during the hours that any direct reports are working.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, the individual must have 5-7 years construction work-related experience and/or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management and be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
