Job summary

U.S. Engineering is seeking a Project Manager - Construction to oversee profitability and success from estimate review through construction.

You will lead start-up activities, coordinate procurement and subcontracts, manage schedules and field teams, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with safety and quality as priorities. The role requires a degree in construction/engineering and at least 5 years in mechanical construction, plus strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in construction science management, architectural engineering, or mechanical engineering or equivalent leadership/field experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical construction.
• Experience leading project teams and managing budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead project start-up, review detailed estimates, procurement, subcontracts and schedules.
• Direct field and office personnel to ensure project quality, on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Establish objectives, procedures and performance standards per company SOPs.
• Manage profit and performance for assigned projects and develop client relationships.
• Coordinate safety programs and implement on-site safety reviews.
• Groom and mentor project engineers; document lessons learned for productivity.
