Job summary

5F Mechanical Group Inc. seeks a Mechanical Project Manager to lead our construction team, directing overall project management, procurement, cost control, schedules, and field leadership. This role develops strong client relationships and drives project success from kickoff to close.

You will collaborate with the Superintendent, monitor budgets, review estimates, and ensure compliance with contract terms while delivering quality on time and within budget for large commercial mechanical projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years experience on large commercial construction projects (mechanical).
• Knowledge of HVAC, duct, plumbing and piping systems.
• Strong budgeting, cost estimating and fiscal management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Excel at an intermediate level.
• Ability to interpret contracts, plans and specifications.
• Experience with cost accounting and project controls systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall management direction for a project or group of projects.
• Procure equipment and subcontracts; monitor and project job costs.
• Maintain billing and schedules; provide leadership to the field.
• Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships for future work.
• Collaborate with Superintendent on day-to-day project activities.
