Job summary

The Hawk Group is seeking a Project Support Specialist to assist Project Managers in coordinating mechanical construction projects. You will support documentation, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, and communication with field teams to ensure on-time, on-budget completion.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a construction field or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated communication, analytical, writing and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Windows-based software and general computer use.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers to ensure projects meet quality, schedule, and budget targets.
• Coordinate pre-construction submittals, meetings, budgeting, reporting and close-out.
• Collaborate with PMs to define complete scope of work for projects.
• Review drawings and specifications and assist with project schedules.
• Monitor budgets and labor costs and alert on concerns.
• Prepare and present logs and reports for project progress.
• Maintain effective communication with the construction team and GC partners.
