Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Permanent Mechanical Construction Estimator with a strong background in HVAC and pipe fitting to join our Baltimore/DC area team. You will estimate mechanical projects up to $10 million, review drawings, and coordinate with engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure accurate cost projections.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering office and field experience in the contracting industry.
• Trade school education in a relevant field.
• A valid Journeyman License.
• Extensive knowledge of the Baltimore and Washington DC area.
• Proven conceptual estimating experience.
• Experience in estimating mechanical projects up to $10 million.
• Proficiency in transitioning from bid to proposal.
• Experience with Quote Soft estimating software.
• Strong understanding of HVAC installation and pipe fitting.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
