Job summary

Aero Simulation, Inc. (ASI) is seeking a Mechanical CAD/Drafter to perform detailed design and drafting for complex simulation and training devices.

You will primarily use SolidWorks to develop mechanical assemblies, create production drawings, and support cross-functional teams including Electrical and Mechanical engineers. The role requires associate degree in engineering technology and 3+ years in parametric CAD drafting, with DoD contract experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering technology or equivalent with advanced drafting coursework.
• Minimum of three years of practical experience using parametric modeling/drafting software, preferably SolidWorks.
• Experience using 2D CAD programs such as AutoCAD.
• Experience with common engineering software tools like Windows, MS Office, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Create CAD models and drawings of electro-mechanical assemblies and parts for production.
• Provide build support to manufacturing by resolving design/documentation issues and documenting changes.
• Prepare for and participate in customer events such as configuration audits and design reviews.
