Job summary

Levare U.S., Inc. seeks a capable CAD Drafter to collaborate with engineers on electro-mechanical designs and documentation. You will create models and drawings from sketches, ensuring proper tolerances and clear manufacture-ready details.

The role requires five years of 3D CAD experience (Creo/SolidWorks/AutoCAD), GD&T knowledge, and Windchill proficiency. You will work in a collaborative team, handling ECNs and revisions while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Design/Drafting or completion of Engineering Technology trade school or a related field.
• Five years related work experience with 3D CAD design or equivalent professional training (preferably Creo (Pro-E), SolidWorks, AutoCAD Inventor).
• Knowledge of fundamental design tools.
• Working experience with GD&T standard ASME Y14.5.
• Proficient knowledge of using PTC-Windchill.
• Experience in product design and the engineering change/revision process.
• Proficient computer skills (MS Office, E-Mail, and Internet).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good analytical skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience handling multiple projects with tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers to create electro-mechanical product designs and technical documentation.
• Perform CAD design work using Creo and Windchill; prepare models and drawings.
• Ensure form, fit and function; perform tolerance stack up analysis.
• Complete ECNs including BOM, models and drawings.
• Interpret and apply ANSI drafting standards and GD&T; review work for accuracy.
• Provide guidance/training to other drafters; work independently or in a team.
• Observe safety procedures and promote safe work practices.
