General Equipment in Minnesota is seeking an Assembly II to perform mechanical assembly, preparation, and inspection of company products for internal and external customers. You will follow established procedures to support safe, efficient production and consistent product quality.

You will cross-train with Assembly and Shipping, coordinate with the Assembly Lead to meet production schedules, and participate in inventory-control programs while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret assembly diagrams, part diagrams, and production drawings.
• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills for assembling components.
• Proficient with the ERP system for forecasting and dispatch lists.
• Troubleshoot issues and support new processes and equipment in manufacturing.
• Proficient with Windows-based apps (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Communicate clearly in English, professionally across teams.

Responsabilités

• Assemble, prepare, and inspect products with the assembly team to meet quality and efficiency standards.
• Cross-train with Assembly and Shipping staff to support coverage and workflow.
• Coordinate with the Assembly Lead to complete work within production schedules.
• Support inventory-control programs and follow established procedures.
• Follow company policies and applicable procedures and safety rules.
• Collaborate with managers and coworkers to achieve goals.
• Manage changing priorities and workloads with effective communication.
• Maintain regular, reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Assist with production of company parts and products as assigned.
• Keep the work area and equipment clean, organized, and safe.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
