Job summary

Techneeds is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to build and inspect automated machinery. You will assemble sub-assemblies, install PCB modules, motors, fans, and bearing housings, and verify precise measurements to meet exact specifications.

Your role involves reading blueprints and BOMs, using calipers, micrometers, and other hand tools, and collaborating with a small team including engineers and leadership. This on-site position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with early hours.

Qualifications

• Mechanical assembly experience including sub-assemblies.
• Able to read blueprints, schematics and BOMs.
• Proficient with hand tools such as screwdrivers and wrenches.
• Skilled with calipers, micrometers and vernier gauges.

Responsibilities

• Build and inspect machines and sub-assemblies to exact specs.
• Install components like PCB modules, motors, fans and housings (no wiring).
• Use measuring tools to ensure precise alignment and tolerances.

Our client is looking for a Mechanical Assembler. They are a dynamic company specializing in the production of automated machines, that are rapidly gaining traction in major commercial markets. In this role, you will be responsible for building and inspecting machines and sub-assemblies and assembling various components of automated machinery, working closely with a small, dedicated team that includes engineers and the CEO.You will use your mechanical skills to install sub-assemblies, work with hand tools, and ensure precise measurements and alignments, all while contributing to the assembly of high-quality equipment that meets exact specifications.
