Job summary

QC-Industries-LLC in Batavia, NY, is seeking an Assembly Tech to perform basic to complex assembly work using hand and power tools. You will interpret blueprints, follow process instructions, and ensure high quality and productivity on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in assembly or general labor in manufacturing.
• Ability to read blueprints preferred.
• Experience with hand and power tools required.
• Proficiency with calipers, gauges, and micrometers for QA.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work overtime when needed.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Job description

Assembly Tech, responsible for performing simple to complex processes, depending on the product being assembled. Typically requires fitting, alignment, and adjustment of components, units, and assemblies to very close tolerances to complete mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies. At times may require working with parts or components which may be difficult to handle and other skills which require good dexterity. Hand and power tools are utilized to complete the assemblies.
