Adecco is urgently hiring Assemblers in Golden Valley, MN for a temp-to-hire role. You will assemble industrial equipment from start to finish, using hand and power tools, and work on a team to meet quality and safety standards.

The position offers 1st and 2nd shifts with overtime potential, pay ranging from $17.88 to $28.27 per hour, plus a shift differential for 2nd shift, and weekly pay with benefits options.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with mechanical and electrical assembly concepts.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset.
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and torque tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical assembly using hand and power tools.

• Maintain a clean, organized workspace using 5S principles.
• Rotate through multiple assembly stations and lines.
• Float to different lines within the value stream after training.
• Identify common assembly bottlenecks across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing areas.

Job Details

• Position: Assembler

• Location: Golden Valley, MN

• Schedule: Monday-Thursday | 1st shift: 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM | 2nd shift: 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM (Mandatory overtime may be required)

• Pay: $17.88 - $26.97 per hour (based on experience) + $1.30 Shift Differential for 2nd shift

• Type: Temp to Hire

What You'll Do

As an Intermediate Assembler, you will work as part of a team to assemble industrial equipment from start to finish while meeting quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Perform mechanical assembly using hand and power tools

• Follow work instructions to meet quality standards

• Conduct in-process quality checks and communicate results

• Troubleshoot and make adjustments to ensure product quality

• Identify and report safety concerns

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace using 5S principles

• Rotate through multiple assembly stations, including main line roles

• Float to different lines within the value stream after training

• Identify common assembly bottlenecks (mechanical, electrical, plumbing)

What We're Looking For

Education & Experience:

• Familiarity with mechanical and electrical assembly concepts

• Manufacturing experience preferred

• Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset

• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and torque tools.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift

• Routinely lift up to 25 lbs; occasionally up to 40 lbs

• Work in multiple positions throughout the shift

Pay Details: $17.88 to $28.27 per hour
