Job summary

Power Design is seeking an Assembler to support the manufacture of electrical equipment, including switchboards and panelboards. You will collaborate with production supervisors and engineering and quality teams to ensure safe, high-quality assemblies.

Responsibilities include wiring, mounting components, following drawings, and maintaining documentation while upholding efficiency and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and electrical aptitude is desired for assembling equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and BOMs.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to follow written/work instructions and verbal directions.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical equipment, including switchboards and panelboards, per drawings and BOMs.
• Mount components, route wiring, and perform mechanical/electrical assembly tasks.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment safely and accurately.
• Follow safety, torque, and wiring standards; maintain documentation.
• Identify defects and support troubleshooting, rework, and corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and quality personnel to resolve issues.
