Job summary

HORIBA Automotive is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join our Ann Arbor, MI team. This role builds and fits parts to form complete units, reading detailed drawings and following precise assembly instructions.

The candidate will work with stainless tubing and mechanical components, performing leak tests and related verifications to ensure quality. A high school diploma or technical training is preferred, with prior assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical certification preferred.
• Experience reading assembly drawings and understanding specs.
• Familiarity with tube bending and leak testing methods.
• Knowledge of basic shop mathematics and measurement techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and fit together parts to form complete units or subassemblies per drawings and specs.
• Install mechanical components and form connections with tubing using hand and bench tools.
• Perform leak tests and other required validations.
