Job summary

HORIBA Automotive is seeking a Mechanical Assembler I in Ann Arbor, MI. The candidate will assemble parts to form subassemblies, following detailed drawings and using hand tools, with emphasis on tube bending and leak testing.

This on-site role requires basic technical training and the ability to read specifications. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or technical training and prior general assembly experience.

Qualifications

• Requires general assembly experience and knowledge of assembly techniques and procedures.
• Reading and understanding assembly drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with tube bending and leak testing.

Responsibilities

• Work from detailed assembly drawings and specifications; plan layouts using flowcharts.
• Install mechanical components and connect stainless steel tubing using hand tools and fixtures.
• Perform leak checks and other necessary tests.
