Job summary

Qualifications

• Incumbent typically has a high school diploma, certification from a technical school or equivalent experience.
• Requires general assembly experience and knowledge of assembly techniques and procedures, including tube bending and leak testing;
• Knowledge of mechanical drawings, shop practices and shop mathematics is beneficial.
• Must be able to read and understand assembly drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Works from detailed assembly drawings and specs; plans layouts using flowcharts; obtains necessary parts from stockroom.
• Installs mechanical components; forms and connects stainless steel tubing using hand tools and fixtures.
• Performs leak checks and other necessary tests.
