Job summary

NEOTech in Longmont, CO is hiring for an assembler to build mechanical housings and hardware with both stand-alone products and PCBA-containing products. The role emphasizes standing work, hand tools, and IPC standards compliance.

The job involves reading blueprints, maintaining station inventories, and executing quality checks while following ISO and 6S policies. High school education and 0–6 months experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 0-6 months of previous experience preferred.
• Ability to work on single task / procedures / products.
• Highly repetitive or routine duties.
• Ability to support 1-2 product lines / customer(s).
• Normally receives detailed instructions on work.
• Works under close supervision.
• Computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products
• Utilize hand held tools such as a hand held screw and drill gun
• Maintain inventory of product in work stations
• Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards
• Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified
• Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes
• Follow ISO standards and 6S objectives
