Job summary

VanZandt Controls is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team in Texas. The role involves assembling mechanical valves, actuators, and related components, reading blueprints, and using hand and power tools to ensure quality parts.

You will load/unload parts, deburr and prep components, and perform quality checks with precision measuring tools. Ideal candidates have experience in manufacturing, strong attention to detail, and a teamwork mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience with manufacturing, assembly, or machine shop environments.
• Ability to read assembly drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload parts while monitoring machine operation.
• Deburr, clean, and prepare machined parts for assembly.
• Assemble mechanical valves, actuators, and related components per drawings.
• Install hardware, seals, bearings, bushings, and fasteners.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
• Perform quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges.
